Food - The Coffee Daily

Finally a cafe that opens on MONDAY!! WOOHOO!!

Anyway, the coffee daily was featured in a magazine I came across long ago and I wanted to check it out but their original opening hours was really .......... opens till 6pm only... kwangx3

HOWEVER! They have reviewed their opening hours! Now they are open on Monday to Thursday from 11am to 1030pm, and Friday to Sunday from 930am to 1130pm! Nice!

It's about a 26 - 30 seats cafe that serves mainly coffee, cakes and sandwiches. =)

It seems that whatever we ordered is quite standard. Haha. Always Iced chocolate and cappuccino

Something new today - Ham & Cheese Foccacia!

Address: 75 Brighton Crescent (Near Serangoon Garden)

Food - Loysel's Toy, finally

I have been wanting to visit Loysel's Toy for so long but always didn't have the "fate" to do so. The first time I went the whole place was so packed that we simply can't find seats to park ourselves. =(

Then their opening hours are so erm.....

Tuesday - Friday: 9am - 6pm
Saturday - Sunday: 9am - 730pm.

Yes! Just like that! =(

But finally... we managed to get 2 seats in the cafe on a Saturday afternoon!!! WOOHOOOOO! >.<|||

The cafe is inside a stand alone building in some ulu place (Kallang area) but people still can find their way there and their business is GOOD. I mean really GOOOD! O.O

Presenting to you.... Loysel's Toy! LOL!

They close on Monday to roast their own coffee beans! (the auntie looks bei song, LOL)

Display of cakes!

Drinks we ordered. Obviously cappuccino is not mine. heh.

I had iced tea - green tea with lemon and lime. Well, I like it because it is very refreshing to have it on a HOT afternoon! =)

An apricot crumble cake to share.

Address: 66 Kampong Bugis Ture.

Purposeful Traveller - Loysel's Toy checked!

Food - Cafes which I have been to lately!

Just today I checked out this cafe - Little Part 1 cafe. Located at 15 Jasmine Road. It is just beside Thomson Plaza, if driving there, don't even think about parking in front of the cafe. Just go straight to Thomson Plaza for parking is the best. haha

When we were there, there wasn't many people. I thought it is a nice place to just order some drinks and play card games with friends! Anyway they sell quite a variety of beers, ciders and wines! =))

We decided to have an early dinner. Ordered Crispy Chicken Salad and Bratwurst with mashed potato. The "Crispy" chicken was still hot when it was served but it was not exactly crispy. -_-||| I think the "downside" to this salad was that the salad was not cold, if it was then it would be refreshing! =)

I love the bratwurst, dipping it with mustard reminds me of the German sausages I ate in Munich =( Missed them!!

Next cafe I have been to was Maison Ikkoku, recently I have been visiting Arab street quite often ever since a friend brought me there for some Moroccan food. hahaha.

Address of this cafe: 20 Kandahar Street.

I went to this cafe twice within a short span of 1 week!! LOL! It was a Saturday when I first visited the cafe and it was surprisingly quiet compared to the bustling Arab Street! I love this place!

I had ice chocolate and it was good.

My friend said that the cappuccino was good too, oh, and not forgetting the super rich banana cake which goes well with the coffee! =))

This place is so ideal to chill out with friends that I brought another group of friends there just last Saturday. The cafe opens till 11pm on Friday & Saturday!

Purposeful Traveller - Good things to share!
